SHORT EXCURSIONS
We are able to organise a range of day and half-day excursions, accompanied by a guide and driver.
These trips can give you an insight into The Gambia, away from the beach hotels, or can just be plain fun and adventure. Tours as diverse as land based orientation tours; sunset cruises with dining and entertainment; exciting 4-wheel drive bush safaris with beach barbecues; village visits with vibrant cultural entertainment; art, craft and shopping; historical sites; jungle walks, swamp exploration by pirogue and camel safaris can all be taken as comfortable day trips, returning to the hotel in time for evening meals.
LONGER EXCURSIONS
We also offer longer excursions upcountry by vehicle and boat. as a way of seeing and meeting the real Gambia and its people, offering the chance to really live and experience West Africa.These excursions are fully accompanied by our trained and reliable staff. Where overnight stays are required we ensure that whilst in some cases the standards and style of a resort hotel cannot be offered, the accommodation provided is comfortable and clean.
