Ghana

Ghana is 238,537 sq. km with a population of 22 million people. It is a land of diverse culture, pristine and expansive coastline. It borders Cote d Ivoire to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean (Gulf of Guinea) to the south. Historically, modern Ghanaian territory was the core of the Ashante Kingdom, which was one of the most advanced states in sub-Sahara Africa in the 18-19thcenturies, before colonial rule. Its main attraction sites are:
